Sweet Life At The Oasis: That time when he was down with viral fever last year....

This entry is really backdated. Wanted to blog about it but my condition at that moment was really hectic. At that time I was preggy with the twins at about 33 weeks. Really heavily pregnant. Can't sleep well at nite and it's hard to walk. Jalan pon kena berpaut. Like seriously. I stopped sending and fetching Harith from school. Had to asked hubby to send and fetch him instead. Senang cerita...it was a challenging time. With Harith 5th birthday coming in another 2 weeks dalam hati terasa nak buat buat or order cake and buy some goody bags for him to celebrate with friends at school tapi tak terdaya sebab memang tak larat dah nak pergi mana-mana. So a weeks before that, Harith had his concert at school. Alhamdulillah it went well and I managed to attend and took his pictures walaupun masa tu dah sarat yang amat.

On the other hand sebenarnya Harith did well in his concert tapi sebenarnya he was not fully recovered from fever. It was on and off thing. Plus the fact that he refuses medicine makes it difficult to recover whenever he is down with one. Waktu tu hubby lah yang menjaga dia during the nite and myself during the day. Challenging sungguh sebab susah makan ubat.

So a few days after...during the night, his fever shoots up and in the morning when asking for milk after drinking he vomitted. Badan dia pon mengigil kesejukan. I said to hubby jangan tunggu lagi go to the clinic and kalau doctor recommended to be admitted...masuk jer hospital. Waktu tu dah susah hati sangat.

So after seeing the doctor, he was asked to a blood test to see weather suspected for dengue. However, the results came out and was negative. So it was not dengue but doctor said he was down due to viral fever. So, kena admit lah apa lagi. Masa tu lagi 2 hari nak Raya Haji. Terpaksa lah kami beraya di hospital. Alhamdulillah...after a few round of antibiotics and medicines on Raya Haji it self Harith was release from the hospital.

This was his first time admitted to the hospital. Selalu demam tak der ah sampai kena admit. Hope that this is the last time. He was really bored kat sana nasib baik ada IPad boleh main games and tv to watch. Thanks hubby for taking care of him at night while he was there. Ini lah pengorbanan seorang ayah. Walaupon tido berlapikkan sleeping bag for few nights kan. Thank you to Tob Ba and Tok Ma yang jadi peneman sebentar di hospital sementara papa Harith balik rumah amik mama untuk menjaga Harith pulak during the day.

Moral of the story....anak-anak ku...janganlah susah atau tak mahu makan ubat yer. Owh, another thing parents please buy an insurance for your kids. Kalau ada senang...with AIA insurance, after getting guarantee letter from panel hospital boleh terus admit tak payah bayar apa-apa. Hospitals bills are getting more expensive nowadays. Bills hospital Harith yang duduk untuk 3 hari sahaja dah mencecah RM2700 plus. Bayangkan belum kena surgery ker apa lagi...so please for your family NOW!
